Established in 1987 by designer, owner, and President, Matthew Hekmat, I D I exploded onto the scene, earning Matthew critical acclaim for amazing fits, fabrics, and beautiful washes. His collections consist of a vast array of styles including novelty tops, vintage cardigans, and contemporary separates.

What began as one man's passion to create a fashion forward sportswear line has evolved into one of the most accomplished trend setting lines on the market.
Creator, Owner, and President of I.D.I, Matthew Hekmat is a self taught fashion prodigy. The Iranian native immigrated to the United States at the age of 17 and was quickly called to a destiny in the apparel industry. By the age of 24, Hekmat was overseeing a wholesale clothing company owned by his father in downtown Los Angeles.
In his own words, Matthew Hekmat says that he learned fashion the hard way. The visionary of I.D.I explains his personal motto, which is included in his company's name, "I just went ahead and Did It!"
